U.S. SHIPPING

American Chic currently offers Ground and Express shipping. We ship packages by the United States Postal Service. On rare occassions, we will ship by FedEx Ground.

U.S. Shipping Rates

U.S. GROUND SHIPPING:
Ground shipments arrive within 4 - 7 business days after the order is placed. For shipments to Alaska or Hawaii, please allow an additional 2 business days for delivery. Please see the table above for Ground Shipping rates (rates are determined according to order the total).

U.S. EXPRESS SHIPPING:
Express shipments arrive within 1 - 3 business days after the order is placed. Order must be placed by 12PM EST (during normal business days, Monday through Friday) to ensure 2-to-3-day delivery. If order is placed after 12PM EST, please allow an extra business day for delivery. Orders placed on Saturday by 12PM EST will arrive either Monday or Tuesday. Signature may be required for delivery. For shipments to Alaska or Hawaii, please allow an additional 2 business days for delivery. Express delivery is not available to PO boxes. Please see the table above for Express Shipping rates (rates are determined according to order total).

IMPORTANT NOTE:
For each shipping method, please allow 1 to 2 additional business days for delivery if order is placed on or the day before a holiday. During major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years) please allow an additional 2 to 3 business days for delivery.

FREE GROUND SHIPPING

American Chic is happy to offer free Ground shipping on orders $125.00 and over to all U.S. residents. Ground shipments arrive within 4 - 7 business days after the order is placed. For shipments to Alaska or Hawaii, please allow an additional 2 business days for delivery. Free shipping only applies to orders shipped within the United States. If your order qualifies for free shipping, please choose the "GROUND SHIPPING" method at checkout.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Canada is the only country outside of the U.S. that American Chic ships to. At the moment, we only offer Express Shipping for orders shipped internationally. Express International deliveries to Canada arrive within 5 - 9 business days after the order is placed. You will receive a tracking number with Express International shipments. Please see the table below for Express International shipping rates (rates are determined according to order total).

U.S. Shipping Rates

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
If you're package does not arrive within the specified time, please contact us. We will open an inquiry to locate your package. It takes around 45 days to complete an inquiry and find out the location of your package. If your package is not found by the end of the 45-day period, we must file a claim with the United States Post Office. It takes 75 days to process a claim with the United States Postal Service. A refund for your order will be processed at the end of the 75-day period. No refund will be given until the end of the 75-day period.

TRACK YOUR PACKAGE

Orders are shipped out 48 to 72 hours after the order is processed. You will receive a tracking number for your package by email within that time frame. Most packages can be tracked at USPS.com. If your tracking number emailed includes "FedEx" in the subject line, you may track your package at FedEx.com.

If you did not receive a tracking number, please contact us to request a tracking number. Please keep in mind that holidays delay shipments by up to 3 business days and orders (except Express shipments) ship out within 48 - 72 hours after the order is placed.

HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER

In order to place an order on AmericanChic.net, click the "ADD TO CART" button on the product page. You will be taken to the "Shopping Cart" page, where you may increase the quantity of the items in your shopping cart. You may return to the product and category pages by clicking on the "Continue Shopping" link. When you have finished adding merchandise to the shopping cart, you may checkout your items by clicking on any "Cart" button on the website. Cart buttons may be found in the menu to the left or in the two menus at the top of the website. Please follow the same instructions if your are ordering from outside of the United States, except that when you get to the checkout pages, select an "International" shipping method.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

RETURN POLICY

At American Chic, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return or exchange an item, we will accept your merchandise in it's original condition within 14 days after original receipt of your order for a refund, minus the original shipping charges. Sale and clearance items are final sale and may not be returned.

IMPORTANT:
Returned merchandise will be inspected upon receipt. All returned merchandise must be in original condition in order to receive a refund or exchange. No credit or exchange will be processed if the merchandise shows signs of use or damage. Our return policy does not cover accidental damage or wear of product caused by customer.

HOW TO MAKE A RETURN OR EXCHANGE

Before returning your merchandise, please fill out the Return/Exchange Form at the bottom of this section. Immediately after doing so, you may return your merchandise. To return your merchandise...

  • Fill out the return/exchange slip portion of the original invoice, noting the reason for your return. If you are making an exchange, please list the items you would like in return.
  • Carefully pack your items in the original box, along with any original materials (shoe boxes, jewelry boxes, etc.) and the return slip. DO NOT BEND OR FOLD THE MERCHANDISE.
  • Fix the return-address label on the outside of the package.
  • Please insure your package for the total of the merchandise being returned! American Chic is not responsible for lost or damaged return packages. We highly recommend using USPS (United States Postal Service) to return your package. Returns must be post-marked within 30 days of original receipt of your order.
  • DO NOT SHIP RETURNS BY EXPRESS MAIL.
  • DO NOT USE UPS TO SHIP YOUR RETURN PACKAGE.
  • We will you email you when your return or exchange has been processed. We ask customers to allow up to 14 business days for a refund to be credited back to their original payment method.
